Summary: This is a journey level nonexempt position and works under general supervision.

Performs a variety of activities, including pipeline pigging, maintenance of right-of-way and grounds around pipeline or other facilities, maintenance and repairs on pipeline and pipeline equipment, oversee construction of pipeline, line locates, and relief gauging. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Make safety a top priority each day.

Insure compliance with manuals and policies. Make environmental integrity a priority each day. Ensure the pipeline is maintained by following the pigging schedule, maintaining ROW, and repairing and maintaining equipment.

Take responsibility for small maintenance and expansion projects including assessing scope, procuring materials and contractors, and supervising the work with the advice and assistance of your supervisor. Fill in for gaugers when needed. Monitor and troubleshoot Gain/Loss issues on the system, seeking fair volume assessments at all locations.

Service and maintain field pumps and LACT units. Keep locations clean. Daily observe any traveled section of the pipeline for leaks, line markers, and needed maintenance.

Perform line locating responsibilities. Report all leaks to your supervisor immediately. Report any needed repairs to the supervisor in a timely fashion.

Keep company vehicles, field equipment, stations, and shop areas clean, serviced, and organized. Keep all paperwork and documentation required up to date and complete. Work with customers and fellow employees to provide excellent customer service.

During "on call" status, individual need to have cell phone with them at all times. Timely responses are essential.

Be able to make quick and reasonable decisions in sometimes-adverse conditions.

Education and/or Experience: High School degree or equivalent. Follows company policies, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid state operating license with driving record acceptable under company insurance policy. Physical Demands:

Regularly bends, stoops, moves from ground level to higher levels, raises/lifts from ground level a load up to 50 lbs., manually transports a load up to 75 lbs., and applies up to 150 foot pounds of torque. Regularly gets into and out of vehicles and rides over rough roads. Walks an average of 5 miles per day, up to 7 miles per day.

Candidates may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing requirements. Subject to overtime and call-outs. Working Conditions:

Roles & Responsibilities This role will be charged with providing leadership, coaching, training, and support for Field Automation Specialists and contract programming personnel to perform their roles within Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards. This field leadership position will provide a strong focus on standardized processes, continuous improvement, and safe delivery of project and maintenance activities for all aspects of automation and controls. Development of integrated workflows with key stakeholder groups is required, including but not limited to Regulatory, Global Supply Chain, .F, LPG, FEL, and Operations. The primary areas of focus will include the following: Operational Control * Drives embedment of Hess safety procedures, best practices and standard work as defined by the expectation of a safety leader. This includes ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures, as well as, lead, perform, and/or participate in accident investigation, safety audits and related activities * Maintain knowledge and control over field automation activities to ensure appropriate contract programmer availability, work schedules; and proper use of manpower skills * Ensure automation related maintenance operations and Infrastructure project support (i.e. initial development through commissioning) are running effectively in the areas of safety, quality, efficiency/productivity, cost reduction, and team member morale * Monitors and maintains quality of Asset Centre file repository and backup systems * Coordinates and engages appropriate stakeholders for troubleshooting efforts and automation related issues * Drives alignment and collaboration with Logistics and Planning through an agreed upon operating rhythm to prioritize, schedule, plan, and execute automation work safely and efficiently. * Works cross functionally with Operations, Engineering, and TA to identify, assess, and build/improve workflows to deliver business value cost effectively for the asset * Monitors the flow of work, material, and information for the department and take corrective actions as needed including troubleshoot daily safety, quality, and productivity issues * Establishes and oversees execution of preventative maintenance and hardware obsolescence plans * Ensure that changes related to C&E specifications or site functionality are authorized through appropriate MOCs. * Ensure frequent audits are performed to ensure procedures for safety, quality, equipment, and training are being followed and all aspects of the work management system is effective including correcting sub-standard behaviors.
