Orion Energy Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Operations Scheduler. The Operations Scheduler will work and partner with the Fabrication, Powder-Coat, Assembly, Shipping, and Purchasing teams. This role is responsible for planning and execution of material processing, scheduling, and sales order preparation to Orion's manufacturing operation. The primary areas of duties include but are not limited to, aligning the fabrication, and paint departments with Orion's kit plan, and the execution of sales orders through each area, provide support to scheduling orders through assembly, and shipping to ensure customer commitments are achieved, and accurate and timely ending of production orders throughout manufacturing according to the guidelines of Orion's internal processes and deadlines.

Responsible for planning and schedule of fabricated and powder-coated materials of incoming Sales Order and balanced schedules between labor, machine time, and customer expectation
Responsible for creating and closing manufacturing orders (PRDs) with proper labels, documents, build instructions, and consumer installation documents
Facilitate Material Master and Kit Planning based on upcoming quarterly commitments
Execute Kit Plan while maintaining a 100% commitment to Sales Order expectations
Assist in scheduling orders through Assembly and Shipping
Provide daily shipping reports to 3PL that include ship dates, destinations, and skid quantities for all Sales Orders
Other duties as assigned based on capacities and needs of Manufacturing Operations
Experience and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Prefer three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Manufacturing Operations
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Possess effective organizational skills
Possess capability to manage and prioritize multiple requests
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exhibits proactive attitude and strong work ethic
Must have strong focus on accuracy, attention to details, customer service, and maintaining high standards of integrity
