Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage production and resource planning to ensure utilization and efficiency metrics are achieved.
Participate, as a member of the core team, in evaluations of product design/process to determine staffing and competencies required for NPI and manufacturing projects.
Active contributor of business alignment through material management, flow of information from manufacturing to supply chain and finance.
Organize the coordination of activities between shipping and receiving with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
Monitor documentation maintenance throughout all phases of NPI, manufacturing, and manufacturing transfer.
Coordinate / open / review / close Work Orders
Prepare, review, and submit Invoices using ERP system
Act as customer liaison for manufacturing projects (meetings, complaints, build plan etc)
Coordinate material ordering and perform cycle counts
Ownership of warehouse material inventory and management and participate in related initiatives including material ordering, performing cycle counts, and kitting support
Integrate best practices from across Nordson Medical (manufacturing and materials management).
Ensure the proper application of Human Resource policies through recommendation and approval of Human Resource actions such as salary administration, disciplinary action, and paid time off.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred, in engineering or related science or 5 years related experience.
Supervisory experience preferred
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Must be able to move throughout office and laboratory space, using a complete variety of office equipment and laboratory machinery and tools.
Must be able to lift more than 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
Must tolerate exposure to chemicals found in the laboratory environment.
