The Developer Support Engineering team provides scaled technical support for the Facebook Platform developer community. As an Operations Program Manager for Developer Support, you will play a key role within our Developer Support Engineering team. You will drive highly cross-functional programs that span the organization including technical assessment of developer platform products, launch planning, training, quality audits, and support performance management. This is a full-time position in our Sunnyvale office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead technical assessment of APIs/SDKs and other developer facing products to determine technical support requirements, preparing the Developer Support Engineering team in providing scaled technical support for our global developer community

Monitor ongoing developer support services to ensure compliance with SLAs and performance commitments

Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on new launches as well as changes to the Facebook Developer Platform

Coordinates training, quality audits, and support performance management across the global team

Ensures standardization of support workflows and processes for Developer Support Engineering

Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve internal processes and support quality across all our support channels

Document learnings and share operational insights to the team and cross-functional partners

Define requirements and specifications for support tooling, reporting and infrastructure

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
    5+ years of experience in Project Management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in operations space
    3+ years of experience in support or operations with proven experience in process improvement and optimization

Experience leading global projects and hands-on project management of multiple concurrent projects

Experience in launching support programs from inception to delivery

Experience in implementing training and quality audit programs

Experience working in a cross-functional environment with stakeholders

Analytical and problem-solving experience

Communication experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with hands-on involvement in solving technical problems

Knowledge on technical integrations involving APIs/SDKs and developer facing products

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-11T00:00 * Job Description * This Senior Operations Program Manager will oversee the development of Automation Tools. * His/her primary responsibilities are to oversee/facilitate the creation of Visual Project Management (VPM) for each Automation development project within the Program * The Senior Operations Program Manager will be, or become, certified in the DBS VPM tool. * In addition, the Senior Operations Program Manager will update project status in Cepheid's Project Priority tools and will report on status as needed. Responsibilities * Ensure, oversee, and facilitate the creation and maintenance of Visual Project Management (VPM) for each project, with agreed-upon exceptions, within the Program * Monitor and validate the status (scope, timeline, and resources) of all the projects within the Program as reported by the associated Project Leaders through regular review the project VPMs, and initiate mitigations and/or escalations to address issues where projects are not tracking according to the VPM plan of record * Lead/facilitate cross functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, etc.) in conjunction with Project Leaders * Interface with external vendors, as required, to ensure appropriate engagement and accountability in conjunction with internal resources and activities * Prepare/maintain/present monthly Program bowlers, action plans, and status reports for L2 Operations Reviews * Establish/maintain and monitor the Product Life Cycle (PLC) process for the Program to ensure continuous improvement to the PCL process * Minimum requirements (i.e. education, years of experience, skills, etc.) * Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Bioengineering or relevant discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level * 7 years of experience in a Technical Operations setting * 5 years of direct project/program management experience in Manufacturing or Engineering * Experience managing other Project/Program Leaders either directly and/or in a dotted-line reporting structure * Excellent analytical skills * Understanding and application of product lifecycle methodologies * Advanced project management skills, including time and risk management and project structuring * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the demonstrated ability to work with and lead cross-functional teams effectively; the ability to work through organizational barriers Preferred requirements * Experience and/or certification in the Danaher Business System (DBS) Visual Project Management (VPM) and Prioritized Project tools * Working knowledge (or better) understanding of Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Toyota production System methodologies * Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar * Experience in Quality System Regulations (QSR) 21 CFR 820 and Design Control: ISO 13485:2003 Radiometer Sunnyvale CA
