This position will be located in Rolling Meadows, IL.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering team Supports production, business, Depot repairs and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities

in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management and process reengineering. The

incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution and process improvement.

Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications:

Requirements for Operations Program Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Technical or engineering, manufacturing field, with minimum 2 years related experience.

  • Experience in working on teams and projects.

  • Working knowledge of supply chain principles

  • Experience in communication, both written and verbal, with upper levels of management.

  • Understanding of Earned Value reporting and analysis.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (EXCEL, PowerPoint and Word).

  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance

Requirements for Principal Operations Program Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Technical or engineering, manufacturing field, with minimum 5 years related experience.

  • Experience in working on teams and projects.

  • Working knowledge of supply chain principles

  • Experience in communication, both written and verbal, with upper levels of management.

  • Understanding of Earned Value reporting and analysis.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (EXCEL, PowerPoint and Word).

  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment, such as production, materials management, supply chain, planning and scheduling.

  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), production planning and material management.

  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with upper levels of management.

  • Strong knowledge of Earned Value reporting and analysis.

  • Experience with proposal generation.

Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing department is seeking RF Test Engineers to support its RF Microelectronics and RF Systems Manufacturing Test Engineering organizations. This position will be located at the Mission Systems Sector, Land & Avionics C4ISR Division, in Rolling Meadows, IL. The selected candidate(s) will work in a dynamic, people and mission-focused environment where he/she will interact with product designers, manufacturing technicians, quality engineering and process engineering. Embedded Software Engineers are responsible for varied duties and tasks including the design and development of RF test systems, guide the testability of new RF product designs, troubleshoot production hardware, and investigate and implement continuous improvement. Roles and Responsibilities: * Transition new RF products from design to production * SW Design and validation of new test stations and fixtures. * Create manufacturing engineering documentation (test reports, test procedures) * Provide technical leadership regarding analysis of production failures, test methodology, corrective action and continuous improvement of cost, quality and cycle time. * Collaborate with Test Technicians to troubleshoot production hardware to determine root cause of failures. MANUMS Basic Qualifications: * Experience with at least one of the following: * National Instruments LabVIEW * National Instruments Lab Windows/CVI * National Instruments TestStand * Experience with C/C * Experience with hardware communication (RS-232, GPIB (IEE 488), TCP-IP, Mil Spec 1553) * Experience in test station SW design, development, and troubleshooting and/or test & validation of RF Test Systems * Experience utilizing Class B equipment such as Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes to troubleshoot hardware * Strong communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment * Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline with relevant years of experience: * T3 - plus 5 years related work experience, or Master's degree and 3 years' experience * T2 - plus 2 years related work experience, or Master's degree and 0 years' experience * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: * Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline with 5 years of RF Engineering experience * Experience in a manufacturing environment * Experience with ClearCase / ClearQuest / GitHub * Experience with Microsoft Project * Experience with Earned Value Management * Active security clearance Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
