As an Ops Processor in Check Processing, you will be performing data entry to correct the MICR line on checks as well as balancing transactions and capturing paper items on the iTran or Cannon 180/190 capture devices. Working in this high-speed environment, you will need to meet production and quality standards, so accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.
Operating iTran capture device or Cannon 180/190 desktop scanner.
Keying rejected items for accuracy to match the MICR line on the checks
Validating dollar amounts
Demonstrating proficiency in all complexities, processing modes and department equipment
Maintaining site productivity and quality standards
Contributing to meeting team goals in addition to individual responsibilities
Ensuring that all customer and bank guidelines are followed as related to operations, internal audit and security, and general practices
Check Processing or banking operations experience preferred
Intermediate computer skills.
Intermediate Qwerty keyboard usage and basic 10-key data entry
Production environment focus around meeting deadlines and quotas
Attention to detail with accuracy and good eye-hand coordination
