Accountemps is partnering with a Fortune 500 Healthcare company in the Twin Cities metro in need of several Project Coordinators. This position will expose you to a corporate environment with opportunity for growth.

Position: The Project Coordinators are responsible for several different duties during the duration of the project and play an integral role in our business processes. They will be researching and confirming contact information for health providers as well as maneuvering through their internal system to audit and cross reference information for completeness. Project Coordinators will search the internet, make calls and update an internal database with relevant information, and manage different stages of the project.

We are looking for individuals who are critical thinkers, can put together a logical line of thinking, and have strong computer skills. These positions are ideal for individuals looking to break into the healthcare industry!

Made up of 10 product lines and multiple sales channels (Stores, E-commerce, and Point of Care), the division employs 125 staff located at 35 clinic and administrative sites. Product lines include health care equipment, medical supplies, skin care services and products, custom orthotics and prosthetics, sleep equipment and supplies. Managers within Health Care Products are accountable for the effective leadership and management of assigned business units leading to achievement of targeted outcomes. The Manager, Health Care Products Operations is accountable for the following business units: Business Services Charge Entry, Claims Processing, Coding, and Cash Posting. The Manager, Health Care Products Operations, in addition to managing assigned business units, must have strong Medicare, Medicaid knowledge, is accountable for program development and management for specific areas of expertise that support all Health Care Products business units. The program manager sets standards, provides content expertise, assures compliance and audits for outcomes. The Manager, Health Care Products, Business Services is accountable for Payer Contracting, Compliance with DME rules, JCAHO accreditation and mock survey’s, Health Care Products billing systems and clearinghouses, vendor relationships related to business services. Education/Experience: A minimum of 2 years of business services (compliance, claims, collections, cash posting, and customer service) management responsibilities in health care field required. Must have 2 years experience leading teams. Experience in DMEPOS billing preferred. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: All candidates-Individuals are responsible for the travel arrangements required to meet the expectations of the position. For all candidates, the following special knowledge is required: • Ability to effectively use windows operating system, Microsoft office software, basic computer technology (mouse, keyboard, video display, hard drive). Has previously used software specialized to the department being managed. • Demonstrated ability and knowledge in the area of process improvement. Commits to learning LEAN system thinking. For all candidates, the following special knowledge is desired: • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. • Experience in project management. • Superior communication skills (verbal, written, graphical, presentation, computer). • Negotiation skills to achieve win/win results with cross functional team members. • Ability to understand operational and financial parameters and projections and be able to coach others to use that information in planning and management of business units. • Creative, breakthrough thinking ability. • Retail practices, skill sets, standards and competencies. • Confidant, meaningful presentations to meet the needs any audience. This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, discrimination and harassment laws).
