REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Planning Manager
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SUPERVISES: Inventory Control Facilitators

Salary range $65,000 to $85,000 base

The Operations Planning Supervisor manages the creation of parts and process specifications to adhere to metallurgical and planning practices.
The Operations Planning Supervisor essential functions include:
Oversee the monthly warehouse inventories
Manage the Virtual claim process
Manage Inventory Control Facilitators
Coordinate with Technical Department when changes in methodology occur.
Coordinate with Advanced Engineering for any experimental metal requests.
Participate in departmental safety training and initiatives.
Comply with all safety, quality and environmental regulations.
EDUCATION
Undergraduate degree in Business, Metallurgy, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
This individual will possess:
3 to 5 years previous production planning experience.
Metallurgical specification knowledge a plus.
Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work in teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
