We are looking for a forward-thinking, hardworking, and multi-tasking Operations NOC Administrator who has a passion to learn, and deliver every single day. As a NOC Administrator, you will join KAYAK's Operations team in our Concord, MA office. You will be part of the team responsible for the day to day support of our development and production environments. If you want to work on a team of similarly hardworking, driven individuals, we'd love to hear from you.


  • Process and triage inbound tickets from developers and business teams

  • Audit the monitoring of our production hosting platform

  • Responsible for managing the website's code release process one day / week

  • Maintain backup systems and data retention policies

  • Work on longer term projects as a team resource

Basic Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Expertise of Linux systems

  • Self motivated

  • Good knowledge of datacenter operations

  • Knowledge of Linux shell scripting is valued

  • Good interpersonal skills in English (spoken and written), other languages are a plus

  • Relevant experience in a similar role

Relevant Tools

  • Jira / Atlassian products or other ticket systems

  • Logic Monitor or other monitoring technologies

  • Kibana / Elasticsearch

Soft skills

  • You are an outstanding teammate who loves to engage with colleagues at a professional and personal level

  • You can handle a high volume of requests with frequent interruptions and prioritise their work while taking infrastructure and business needs into account

  • You have an outstanding technical interpersonal skills

Platform Management team part of the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group is looking for an Sr Informatica Administrator (App Sys Eng 5) with a strong experience in Informatica ETL development, product configuration and administration, and many other platform activities in large and complex Informatica, Oracle, and DB2 environments. Candidate should have the ability to provide the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of complex Informatica environments. Candidate should have strong experience in making recommendations on scalable and repeatable processes and implement tools/technology to proactively monitor the overall Platform health. Responsibilities include: * Maintenance and administration of Informatica across WIMT group in 24/7 production environments * Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and data quality * Provides production support for technical issues and initiatives related to applications, systems, databases, and reporting * Troubleshoots and resolve issues and restores services or data impacted * Evaluates service level agreement criteria; identifies gaps in current technology processes and recommends changes to assure OLAs/SLAs can be supported * Provides technical expertise in identifying issues that impact the environment and service delivery * Drives multiple complex production issues simultaneously using a wide range of skills * Interacts effectively with a variety of internal and external partners including distributed Systems, infrastructure, architecture, and software vendors * Partners with business and other technology teams on issue identification and resolution, problem solving, and planning * Assesses changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security, access, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas via accepted change control processes * Assists with the creation, maintenance, and testing of the business continuation plan (BCP) Note: You may be required to work outside of normal working hours to implement scheduled change controls and help resolve production issues in 24x7 environment.
