We are seeking an Operations Manager to help us build a pathway for our exceptional professionals to be their most efficient, productive and effective. Job Title: Operations Manager (Ops Manager) Job Description:

The Operations Manager at USXA Southern California is a new role, managing the firm’s day-to-day operations and facilitating its integration with the larger USXA platform. The Ops Manager ensures USXA’s administrative, systems, finance, marketing and people operations run smoothly. Additionally, the Ops Manager serves as a partner to the firm’s Shareholders and investors.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the professional services industry, preferably having worked their way up from an individual contributor role. We believe this trajectory helps a person develop a proficiency with the practices, policies and procedures of our industry. Objectives of this role:

Translate the organization’s strategies into actionable steps, implementing firm-wide practices, policies and procedures that deliver results Oversee USXA’s day-to-day operations to quality, timing, financial and cultural targets What You Will Do: Oversee day-to-day operations, including supervising teams across various functions, to ensure USXA is operating efficiently, effectively and seamlessly Supervise logistics, workflow and process optimization to implement business strategies and plans as identified by the Shareholders Analyze internal operations and identify ways to streamline workflows and implement tools and technologies that optimize processes Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding and professional development Ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk by staying up to date on legal requirements, adjusting operational practices as needed As this role evolves, manage direct reports who support organizational needs and business growth All other tasks as assigned What You Will Bring: 3 or more years of experience in a team lead, supervisor or manager role A strong understanding of business operations, process improvement and client service; ability to diagnose issues quickly Experience across more than one function, such as administration, finance, sales, IT, HR, facilities and operations Experience working with budgets, cost control and managing cash flow Experience vetting, onboarding and managing vendors A positive attitude, steadfast resolve and personal integrity An entrepreneurial mindset and passion for working in growing businesses An understanding of accounting firm business models and/or experience working in an alternative practice structure is a plus Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, accounting or similar relevant field or comparable experience USXA offers a compelling total rewards package that includes great base pay and bonus.
