We are Now Hiring an Operations Manager in Chicago, IL!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee & Manage dispatchers & schedulers performance.

• Oversee daily operations, trip performance measures, i.e. on-time performance, productivity, accidents, incidents, etc.

• Covers dispatch/scheduler shifts as needed

• Ensure company compliance is met & ensure all key performance measures are met

• Recommends dispatcher discipline.

• Respond to customer questions and concerns about no shows, cancellations, and missed trips

• Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls

• Manage department reports and other communication tools

• Performs all other duties as assigned and may assist with other areas based on location needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years transportation experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical degree preferred.

• 5+ years of Supervisory/Management experience

• Must possess ability to lead and motivate employees

• Experience dealing with union environments

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

• Problem solving and analytical abilities.

• Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts
