About the Role
Manage a team of front line employees that operate around the clock across the Columbus market
Innovate on new ways to improve operations and the customer experience through better processes, equipment, and technology.
Maintain adherence to all company and regulatory safety requirements.
Monitor and periodically report on system performance (including bike availability and team productivity metrics) and coordinate changes to operational strategy as needed.
Manage the system's budget and weekly reporting on systems financial performance
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and individual performance metrics.
Collaborate with Facilities partners to plan for necessary infrastructure upgrades and/or real estate needs
You have a valid Driver's License
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
You have at 3-5 years of experience managing cross-functional, field-based teams.
You have at least 4 years of management experience where you were directly responsible for setting business goals and overseeing improvement initiatives.
You are able to determine capacity needs through assessing data trends/business needs and forecasting demand.
You are comfortable directing multiple work streams simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
You're a critical thinker and expert problem solver -- you enjoy structuring and solving complex problems.
You're a team player and a natural collaborator. You seek the help and advice of your peers and communicate your ideas thoughtfully.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can quickly summarize complex information to make operational decisions.
You're a whiz in Microsoft Excel, creative with Microsoft Powerpoint, and comfortable working in the Google suite of products.
You're willing to manage a 24/7 operation that may occasionally require working off-hours, weekends, and infrequent travel.
Experience working in a unionized employee environment a plus.
