Cameron International Corporation (formerly CooperCameron Corporation, CCC) is a Schlumberger company and a global provider of pressure control, processing, flow control and compression systems as well as project management and aftermarket services for the oil and gas and process industries.

Manage the manufacturing activity including CNC machining, high efficiency welding, assembly, test, and painting. This role ensures an efficient and cost-effective manufacturing environment in Little Rock.

As Operations Manager. You'll be responsible for resource allocation, hiring, employee development and training. In addition, the manager must ensure that manufacturing is done safely, of the highest quality, timely, in a cost effective manner and adheres to the Cameron/Schlumberger standards. The manufacturing manager is measured by meeting customer commitments, producing quality parts in a cost-effective manner, and ensuring the work place is accident free and organized.

Minimum Job Qualifications Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree; or 10+years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must have proven manufacturing management experience, including supervisory skills, employee selection, performance management, effective goal setting etc.

  • Must have working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes(i.e. welding, QA/QC, tubing installations, electrical wiring etc.)

  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Prior experience with SAP a plus.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, able to work as part of a team, good interpersonal skills and a good listener.

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and able to handle multiple activities at the same time.

Responsible for planning, directing and execution of all aspects of manufacturing engineering within the organization. Ensures that all continual improvement projects, initiatives and processes are aligned, planned, implemented, optimized and sustained. Develops and leads the Manufacturing Engineering team to implement safe, cost-effective processes and methods, in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Essential Functions / Responsibilities: * Develops people to see and eliminate waste in order to create and enhance flows that satisfy customers and thereby maximize and sustain profits. * Ensures that all engineering needs are fulfilled to support the overall goals of the manufacturing organization, with focus on productivity measured in safety, quality, cost and delivery. * Establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures and defines roles and responsibilities for the department. * Leads and coordinates efforts to define capital budget goals. Oversees the process of scoping and implementation of capital budget projects, on an annual basis. * Facilitates cross-functional partnership and teams to drive effective problem-solving and solutions that benefit the entire organization. * Promotes and supports Lean Manufacturing and Continual Improvement activities in manufacturing. * Coaches, leads, and develops team members. Understands the training needs and desires of the department, and implements professional development opportunities that are appropriate. * Ensures accuracy of department's work product. Qualifications: * B.S. Degree in Engineering, Engineering/Manufacturing Technology, or appropriate combination of related education and experience. * Minimum five (5) years' experience in manufacturing demonstrating effective leadership skills. * Demonstrated knowledge of design, manufacturing, quality and/or supply-chain as they relate to our production environment. Technical Skills: * Demonstrated strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ability to manage, and motivate others required. * Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule required. * Demonstrated strong problem solving skills and effective management of time and resources required. * Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) required. * Familiarity with process control, quality assurance, process and capability planning required. * Familiarity with investment analysis, equipment justification and procurement, costing methods and value analysis preferred. * Experience applying Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies required. * Knowledge of CNC programming and Computer Aided Design preferred. * Familiarity with detail process planning, including specifying speeds, feeds, tooling, fixturing and gaging preferred. * Practical application of ergonomics preferred. * Familiarity with assembly line work balancing and material presentation preferred. * Knowledge of machining operations and equipment and with lean/cellular concepts preferred.
