The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations to ensure that we meet our production efficiency and output targets.
They will be tasked with maintaining a safe and productive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing the production budget, controlling costs, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for training and developing employees, as well as monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities 1. Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency and meet output targets. 2.
Implement and manage Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. 3. Use ERP systems, particularly SAP, to manage manufacturing processes and data. 4. Train and develop employees to enhance their skills and performance. 5.
Monitor and report on KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement. 6. Manage the production budget, controlling costs to meet financial objectives. 7.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products on time and addressing any issues promptly and effectively. 8.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity. 9. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align operations with company goals. Qualifications 1.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role in the manufacturing industry. 3. Strong leadership skills with both disciplinary and functional responsibilities. 4.
Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, in a manufacturing environment. 5. Proven ability to implement Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives. 6. Experience in training and developing employees. 7.
Excellent understanding of KPIs and ability to use them to drive performance and improvement. 8. Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and controlling costs. 9. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions quickly. 10.
