ITS ConGlobal is the industry-leading provider of intermodal rail terminal services, auto loading and unloading and container depot services. We take pride in consistently delivering superior and reliable service, a broad scope of services and an exemplary safety record. We're currently seeking Operations Managers to join our team.

Operations Managers lead the day to day operations of the terminal staff while focusing on safety, performance & productivity.

Responsibilities

Operations Manager

  • Coordinates and prepares railcars for loading & unloading

  • Checks and verifies numbers on all inbound/outbound trains

  • Manages the movement of ramp crews

  • Identifies situations that require problem solving to achieve efficient flow within the terminal

  • Enforces and upholds all ITS rules, regulations and policies

  • Approaches safety violations with care and provides on the spot coaching

  • Ensures interactions with terminal staff increase engagement and retention

  • Other duties as assigned (administrative & non-administrative)

Requirements

  • Previous transportation and supervisory experience is preferred

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

  • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills are mandatory

  • Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products

  • Strong Work Ethic

  • Open availability

  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions

Who you are You are an Operations Manager who is experienced in service work for kitchen equipment, construction, and/or facilities management. You ensure completion of our vendor partners onboarding process and training – to include the monitoring and support of its continuous training and certifications, and effectively communicating program process changes. As the Operations Manager, you ensure full integration of the vendor partner into the Facilities & Equipment team's processes for day to day operations. What you bring * Operations or Facilities background. * Technical Trade School with relevant experience or College degree (Business, Management, Engineering, Construction) with relevant experience and technical acumen. * Good oral and written communication skills. * Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and use of proprietary APP to capture service. * Ability to take initiative and recognize a need to act without prompting from supervisor. * Ability to maintain a friendly, helpful attitude, and demonstrate empathy to CFA Operators and Vendors. * An ability to travel 70% within the market area. Bonus skills and experience * Experience in service work for kitchen equipment, construction, and/or facilities management. What success looks like * You successfully act as liaison between CFA, Inc. and CFA Franchisee (Operator) and vendor partner on service and invoice inquiries and disputes. * Create and communicate specific equipment reports to help leadership with equipment forecasting, rollouts, and proactive replacements. * Provide equipment trend reports using the HYVE database specifically for equipment repairs, replacements and failure trend analysis to share with organization. * Produce monthly budget reports on current spend. * Successfully, you continuously inspect a portion of all PM's & Reactive service work performed by the vendor partner at participating CFA restaurants for both service work to ensure the work meets functional and design standards and to ensure the PM checklist pertaining to integrations, projects, and due diligence matters confidently. * You will be a trusted subject matter expert, and be able to finesse processes relating to integrations, and policies. * You will bring new best practices and recommend improvements related to your subject matter areas.
