The Information Security team seeks a high-energy, motivated individual who combines solid technical credentials with a high degree of business acumen for the position of Operations Manager Identity and Access Management within our Identity and Access Management team. In this role, you will collaborate with TR leadership, technology teams, business partners, and trusted third party providers to ensure secure and reliable services.
This is not your average IAM team. We are completely transforming our entire IAM stack and modernizing how we protect and enable our company. A successful candidate for this role will have hands on experience in implementing and supporting IAM solutions across the board. We are looking for the right candidate who can coordinate, manage, and drive continuous improvement for all our IAM services in partnership with our engineering and operations teams. These solutions will span Thomson Reuters data centers, colo's, and cloud services worldwide to support our diverse set of users and businesses.
Own and advance our entire IAM operations teams to ensure continuous service improvement and mature transition of new IAM engineering capability.
Evangelize rigorous identity and access management capability for our key consumers.
Partner with key organizational stakeholders and represent IAM operations on incidents calls and reviews.
Ensure IAM operations teams address issues in a timely and consistent manner.
Focus on root cause of issues and foundational improvements as new IAM solutions are introduced and adopted.
Partner with Cloud and Data Center Engineers to develop long-term implementation approaches for IAM to leverage new technology offerings for automated deployments and monitoring.
Proactively monitor and coordinate cross-organizational system integration touch points to reduce or eliminate unexpected or unanticipated breakdowns.
Research emerging trends in software development and platforms; evaluate their use within IAM.
Interact with technology peers to make technical recommendations for application development.
Create appropriate documentation and artifacts as necessary.
Effectively communicate timely and accurate status information to leadership teams.
Take personal responsibility to impact results, deliver on commitments, and reduce costs.
Communicate solutions, implementation direction, and technology strategy through formal and informal means to executives, technology management, peers, and development staff.
Willingness to adjust scheduled as needed to support critical issues in partnership with operations teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related or BS/BA and equivalent work experience.
5+ years of design and implementation experience in the identity space; experience with Identity Access Management and associated technologies. E.g. Sailpoint, Ping, CyberArk, Venafi, and AWS, and Microsoft solutions
5+ years of information security experience in firms with a global presence.
Multi-Factor authentication implementation experience leveraging both PKI and one time password based technologies.
Hands on experience with IAM technologies and ability to drive teams to technical resolution and root cause resolution.
Deep understanding of identity solutions leveraging Microsoft technology such as Active Directory, Azure AD and ADFS.
Experience with cloud identity platforms for both direct integration with cloud services and extension to traditional data centers.
Strong background in change management, KPI's, and KRI's as they relate to IAM operations.
Strong negotiating and influencing skills to reach binding agreement on implementation approaches for technical issues.
Strong analytical skills to breakdown issues to aid in troubleshooting and identify root problems.
Very strong interpersonal and communications skills (including oral, written as well as listening proficiency).
Strong issue resolution and conflict resolutions skills.
Strong data analysis skills and ability to solve complex problems independently and to generate creative solutions.
