ICEYE is building and operating its own commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time even when its cloudy or dark providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.

We launched the worlds first small SAR satellite in January 2018. To date, ICEYE has successfully launched a total of 16 SAR satellite missions and has raised $304M in financing. We dont plan to stop - join our team and lets achieve great things together!

To support the growth of the company, we are looking for an Operations Manager to support the COO in duties relating to business growth strategy, satellite missions and project planning. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is wants to develop within a growing start up.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Working closely with the COO on growth strategy and planning/implementation
  • Ensuring expertise and effectiveness across operating platforms
  • Leading satellite missions and able to demonstrate your knowledge both internally and externally
  • Driving employees, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce
  • Initiating better business practices
  • Ensuring we are operating a high and reliable service
  • Being part of a leadership team in a fast scale start up


  • Experience within a Project Management or Operations role previously
  • A passion for the space sector and a basic understanding of the satellite industry
  • Knowledge of diverse business functions
  • Willing and able to get involved at tasks at all levels and show willingness to be involved
  • Proven ability to manage budgets in a similar role
  • Proficient operational and financial acumen
  • Project planning experience, must be efficient using Smart Sheets etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S Citizen who is happy & able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance

Giving back allows us to improve public spaces where people connect, promote public safety and advance access to education and technology.</p><p>Role</p><p>The Operations Manager oversees a large and dynamic group of professionals including Operations Coordinators, and a Data Analyst. The Operations Coordinator team is primarily responsible for the financials of the node and fiber projects as well as the ordering and inventory of materials. The Data Analyst is primarily responsible for tracker creation/upkeep, data corrections, adhoc reporting as needed by Managers, trend reporting analysis and data quality projects. The Operations Manager oversees the design and implementation of process and reporting to ensure that data is properly maintained in Crowns Financial System to result in accurate billing and payments.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Oversees and manages resources and processes for a team of Operations Coordinators and a Data Analyst. Manages the process to promote efficiency, accuracy and identification of anomalies. Responsible for issue resolution and coordination of or escalation of issues or questions to Manager of Network Construction and any other relevant departments.</p></li><li><p>Has a thorough understanding of the expense and/or revenue related processes in order to respond to inquiries and provide guidance to the team when needed. Prioritizes work effort for team members. Shifts staff responsibilities as necessary to respond to large projects, acquisitions or general volume.</p></li><li><p>Reviews operational and data quality reports weekly and monthly to ensure that the reports provide an accurate picture of all processes as well as ensuring errors and omissions are corrected accurately and in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>Ensures that team members have been properly trained to create purchase orders and input data that results in a high level of financial expertise and data quality within the department.</p></li><li><p>As the business process owner, the Manager owns the data generated and maintained by their department. Researches and makes necessary corrections via appropriate data correction process for issues identified on financial monthly review reports and error reports. Provides commentary in monthly status meeting.</p></li><li><p>Manages the flow, establishes policy and oversees the controls for complicated business transactions including intercompany relationships, General Contractor (GC) billing, tracker build and maintenance, reporting as needed. The Operations Manager has the ability to identify, quantify and manage the impact of these items that fall outside of the norm and outside of established process.
