Job Summary

Working as an EVS Operations Manager, you are responsible for assisting senior EVS leaders in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate the tasks of the front-line staff. You will serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments and provide the highest possible level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff

  • Plans work and staffing schedules and areas of work to ensure adequate services are rendered

  • Assists in the hiring process; interview, hiring and training of new associates

  • Orients, develops, and supervises all supervisory/housekeeping staff

  • Conducts regular inspections and makes recommendations to the facility

  • Monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans

  • Staff education and training

  • Communication with staff, administration, and other departments

  • Coordination of outside services (i.e. Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, Document Destruction, and Recycling program)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four year college degree, military experience, or equivalent work experience required

  • At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer/client contact required

  • Demonstrated progressive growth in the field of health care housekeeping or facility maintenance preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations

  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities

  • Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment

  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures

  • Willingness to work a 10 hour day on a regular basiswith a weekend and holiday rotation

Military Transferrable

  • Non Commissioned Officer E4+ with experience in Planning, developing and directing logistics

  • All military branches with experience of supervising a group of soldiers of 15 or more

  • Troubleshoots, isolates and identifies causes of equipment malfunction

  • Teaches technical skills to lower grade soldiers

  • Prepares costs and labor estimates

This position, in partnership with the People Operations Leader, is responsible for executing and managing the talent management programs and projects within the business unit related to continued growth, development, and engagement of people. This role requires an individual to continuously consult with business unit and Talent Solutions leadership as well as key stakeholders across a variety of practice support functions of the firm to assess needs and strategic people priorities to meet business goals. Key Accountabilities: Collaborate with firm-wide people services to ensure efficient and effective execution and management of the following people operations programs and processes: * Manage day to day employee situations in partnership with the People Operations Leader and firm wide Human Resource Services including terminations, performance improvement plans, flexible work arrangements, leaves of absence, etc. * Participate in the internal investigation process for sensitive employee matters * Conduct exit interviews * Identify trends in exit interview data that speak to issues facing the practice and bring forward for discussion and potential actions * Provide regular people operations updates on business unit statistics and people relations matters and processes to the People Operations Leader * Serve as liaison to Firm wide Recruiting for both campus and experienced hiring * Manage pieces of the business unit components of the firm's internship program * Manage the execution of the business unit annual people processes with the People Operations Leader, including performance/ career management communications, assist in facilitation of talent meetings and compensation analyses and decisions * Involvement in business unit's responsibilities related to rewards and recognition programs * Partner with Human Resource Services to support the process of visas and secondments for Consulting business unit personnel * Manage pieces of the campus hire orientations for Consulting business unit campus hires * Partner with People Operations Leader on leadership development programming, inclusion strategy, and succession planning * Manage pieces of the annual people engagement survey reporting process and action planning * Support the execution of key firm wide initiatives relative to diversity and inclusion * Manage or perform other tasks and special projects as required by the People Operations Leader Company Overview Your Journey at Crowe Starts Here: At Crowe, you have the opportunity to deliver innovative solutions to today's complex business issues.
