Job Summary

Job Summary:

Working as an EVS Operations Manager - Evenings, you are responsible for assisting senior EVS leaders in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate the tasks of the front-line staff. You will serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments and provide the highest possible level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff

  • Plans work and staffing schedules and areas of work to ensure adequate services are rendered

  • Assists in the hiring process; interview, hiring and training of new associates

  • Orients, develops, and supervises all supervisory/housekeeping staff

  • Conducts regular inspections and makes recommendations to the facility

  • Monthly reporting of goals, accomplishments, and future plans

  • Staff education and training

  • Communication with staff, administration, and other departments

  • Coordination of outside services (i.e. Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, Document Destruction, and Recycling program)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four year college degree, military experience, or equivalent work experience required

  • At least one year of supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer/client contact required

  • Demonstrated progressive growth in the field of health care housekeeping or facility maintenance preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations

  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities

  • Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment

  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures

  • Ability to work an evening shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM schedule) with a weekend and holiday rotation

  • Willingness to work a 10 hour day on a regular basis

Military Transferrable

  • Non Commissioned Officer E4+ with experience in Planning, developing and directing logistics

  • All military branches with experience of supervising a group of soldiers of 15 or more

  • Troubleshoots, isolates and identifies causes of equipment malfunction

  • Teaches technical skills to lower grade soldiers

  • Prepares costs and labor estimates

The Vice President of Enterprise Security Operations assists the SVP with the administration of the corporate security program, responsible for the day-to-day operational security function by ensuring the implementation and execution of policies, procedures and protocols with a view toward consistency, efficiency, best practices and limiting liability at Caesars Entertainment properties. Maintains liaisons between Enterprise Security and property Directors of Security to assist with the implementation of enterprise objectives, ensuring processes, policies, procedures, and training are standardized. Serves as a centralized communication resource for all security information across their region. This includes cross departmental communication ensuring all security protocols are disseminated to the proper personnel. The VP of Enterprise Security Operations is responsible for managing the Directors of Security with cross-functional expertise within their region, to include their professional development. At all times the VP of Enterprise Security Operations will perform their duties in accordance with the highest ethical standards and applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules and regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES At the direction of the SVP for Enterprise Security, the VP of Enterprise Security Operations will be responsible for the following: * Govern security operation's effectiveness and efficiency for all properties within the region. Liaison between corporate security and property security leadership teams to ensure resources, training, policies, processes, and procedures are standardized. * Review security structure, organization, and staffing offering recommendations on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and how to achieve the goals of the security department within the region. * Assist SVP of Security with formalizing security budgets for the region and maintaining accountability for budget accuracy. * Interpret security historical incident data and statistics. Upon analysis of the information identify trends and patterns for developing, strengthening, and implementing security practices within their region. * Standardize security tools for the performance of duties to reduce cost and ensure the best product is being utilized by security team members. * Conduct security site assessments of properties within the region, preparing detailed report of findings for senior management and corporate leadership. This is achieved through constant review of security operational plans. * Consult with corporate design and construction teams on future business infrastructure development projects and existing remodeling projects. Ensuring industry security design principles are considered during the design and budgeting phases to increase safety, therefore, mitigating risk. * Reviews emergency and crisis security protocols across the region to assist in the development of best practices to be implemented during incidents. Work with regional marketing teams to ensure security plans are developed for all major special events. * Supports property's security and leadership operational teams during emergencies, crisis, and large scale events (i.e. natural disasters, dignitary, or celebrity visits). Coordinates communication on security emergencies between property security leaders and corporate senior management during serious incidents. Conduct personal protection for corporate senior leadership, celebrities, or dignitaries, if needed. * Maintains excellent relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement entities. Including, facilitating distribution of security related information to and from law enforcement entities and property's executive management and security leaders. * Reviews customer service performance standards of security departments within their region and assist in the creation of customer service initiatives, including offering resources, education, and implementation of best practices used by other CET properties. * Aid in the creation of security department employee engagement programs to ensure employee satisfaction within the region, including offering resources, education, and implementation of best practices used by other CET properties. * Review EOS/SFS scores for each property inside the region to identify successes and challenges, allowing for the cultivation of better practices. Utilize EOS/SFS as blueprints to the creation of development plans for all security leadership team members. * Assist property leadership within region with interviewing and selection of property Director of Security. * Other duties as assigned. REPORTING The VP of Enterprise Security Operations will report to, and take direction from, the SVP for Enterprise Security. The property-level Directors/Managers of Security will dual report to the VP of Enterprise Security Operations and the General Manager of their respective properties, with the General Managers having oversight over their day-to-day operations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has supervisory responsibilities * Responsible for staff development and training programs. * Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement. * Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance. * Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs. * Determines work procedures and expedites workflow. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and employees. Ability to communicate one-on-one and to groups to explain policies and procedures, and to persuade others to accept or adopt a specific opinion or action. Ability to effectively present information and/or a convincing argument to executives. ANALYTICAL AND REASONING ABILITY Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports. OTHER The VP of Enterprise Security Operations will be required to travel to properties to meet with security leaders, as well as, senior leadership.
