The Operations Manager will oversee operations and will manage productivity and organizational effectiveness. The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing intraoffice communication protocols, streamlining procedures, office staff supervision and task delegation. This position requires a professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a complex retail organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide focus and direction to the central functions of the organization, including (but not limited to) Accounting and Controlling, Information Technology (IT), Safety, Purchasing, Auditing, and Compliance.
Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
Analyze process workflow, employee requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
Responsible for ensuring office financial objectives are met by preparing annual budget for the office, planning the expenditures, analyzing variances and carrying out necessary corrections that may arise
Develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures
Provide timely and ongoing coaching to associates and mangers throughout the organization
Collaborate with other members of the management team including Human Resources, Sales, and Manufacturing.
Provide regular reporting of business results, trends, and competitive information.
When deviations from the business plan occur, propose and implement corrective actions to bring the business back in line with planning.
Provides training and benchmarking for satisfactory performance throughout the established area of the business.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
5 years operations experience, 10 years preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Refined ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to key personnel
Possession of key competencies, including conflict management, business negotiation, organization and decisionmaking
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
