We are currently in need of an Operations Manager to join our Washington, DC team and help drive blueground's growth in the US. At the heart of what we do is operations, and it is a core area of the business. The roles main focus will be on ensuring smooth operations, as well as continuous improvement of our business systems and processes.

Your primary responsibilities include creating and executing project plans according to blueground 's furnishing standards and brand style directions.

Major duties include:

  • Full operational set-up and maintenance coordination of blueground properties (furnishing, supplies, services, etc) according to brand style and guidelines
  • Liaise, manage and negotiate with contractors, vendors and external business partners ensuring that our guests enjoy high standards of client experience
  • Support the on-boarding process of new properties


The ideal candidate should be:

  • Graduate from a top-tier university
  • 2+ years of progressive work experience preferably in the area of business operations or services in a start-up, SME or large corporation

It is required that the Infrastructure Operations Manager have the following qualifications: Certified ITIL® Foundation Level Certification (or better). Ten or more years of related experience in 1) IT Infrastructure Engineering and Operations similar to this contract and 2) the contractor's proposed solution to include Data Centers, Cloud provided IT solutions, WAN/LAN, and Server Support. At least four of these years must be in a leadership position. Demonstrated experience in operating and designing a network that supports a dispersed workforce, utilizing and supporting both on premise applications and applications deployed in the cloud. It is desired that the Infrastructure Operations Manager have the following qualifications: Demonstrated experience with IT infrastructure technologies including but not limited to Windows and Linux operating systems and associated technologies, storage systems, local and wide area network infrastructure, server hardware, video and voice systems, remote access solutions, messaging, mobility, monitoring tools, TCP/IP and DNS and other foundational protocols, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms. Knowledge and experience with client server, cloud computing (private, public, and hybrid) and enterprise collaboration technologies. Demonstrated expert experience with troubleshooting a wide range of LAN, MPLS WAN, Wi-Fi and SAN, network issues hampering service availability and making recommendations for system fixes and enhancements. Demonstrated experience with implementing monitoring tools to proactively and predictively manage IT infrastructures similar or great in size, scope, and complexity to this contract.
