Job Description:

Manages a specific operations segment or a small operations unit of the company's operations activities . May report to a group operations manager. Involved in a variety of projects. Responsible for expense management, enterprise management, and building business/client relationships. Oversees daily activities ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards and adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g. client inquiries, transaction research). Develops and implements new processes/procedures to improve operating efficiency and to ensure timeliness and accuracy of workflow. Decisions impact multiple product lines, customers, and associates. Modifies existing procedures and analyzes and resolves non-routine and/or moderately complex operational problems often requiring research and involvement from other business functional experts. Requires thorough operations knowledge of specific products/ services line managed, usually gained through operations experience. Forecast / manage staffing levels and capacities.

This position serves as the Team Leader for a staff of seven (7) employees supporting our Corporate Aircraft Finance ("GCAF") line of business consisting of corporate and high net worth clients, and international aircraft transactions. (i) Closings: Primary responsibility to manage and assign workflow to team as well as selection of bank's external legal counsel. Review of conditions precedent to closing including: insurance review, pricing review, booking system review, and verification of receipt of any required internal sign-offs. Verify that all credit/asset management/legal/risk requirements are reflected in the transaction documentation and/or deliverables are satisfied for closing. Review funding packages to ensure all requirements for funding are satisfied. (ii) Perform QA on collateral releases - FAA Lease Termination and FAA Lien Releases, discharges of International Interest on the International Registry, UCC terminations, PPSA discharges, release of aircraft from foreign registries, review of payoff letters and payoff quotes. (iii) Portfolio maintenance - manage workflow for all post-closing documentation events such as lease, loan, and guaranty amendments to support changes approved by credit ranging from loan to value covenant violation waivers in exchange for additional collateral to assignment and assumptions resulting from corporate restructures. (iv) Client services - manage associates who are responsible for external customer service functions, including invoice issues, audit confirmations, and post-closing documentation requests; and internal customer service functions including inquiries from GCAF line of business and Bank partners (GWIM and GBAM). Liaison between Regional Sales Manager, Sales and Legal regarding transaction status, receipt of executed documentation, supplier invoices, lien searches, researching and clarifying information and problem resolution. Coach team members and conduct semi-annual annual performance reviews. Manage follow-ups, file reviews, and transaction expenses for assigned team to assure timely receipt. Aircraft experience preferred. Legal experience preferred.
