ACERTUS is an automotive logistics company that offers a portfolio of services that span across the vehicle lifecycle. As an Operations Manager you will be planning and allocating resources to effectively staff the department, meet productivity and quality goals, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Schedule : Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Pay: Based on Experience

What will you be doing?

• Oversee daily operations of the driving department to meet/exceed quality, productivity, and service goals.

• Oversee department strategy, planning, and budgeting activities.

• Manage all OEM client accounts to ensure their vehicles are moving in a timely manner.

• Oversee performance metrics to include aging, margin, and service level agreements to meet company standards and targets.

• Establish and cultivate relationships with customers, new carriers and internal partners

• Problem-solve operation issues that arise.

• Create, analyze, and audit customer reports daily to identify industry trends, customer behavior, and areas for improvement.

• Grow business opportunities and accounts by understanding client needs and communicating product value.

• Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.

• Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• This position requires a bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent experience.

• Must have three to five years of experience in operations and/or customer service.

• Previous experience in the automotive, transportation, logistics, or rail industry is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel, and other general office equipment.

• Knowledge of load factor, car haul networks, and geography is helpful.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to market conditions.

• Ability to proactively research and resolve problems.

• Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Strong Ability to identify risk and profit gains.

• Ability to work with scheduling the team to ensure coverage is met.

• Personal responsibility to manage change.
