U.S. Bank is looking for an experienced manager with strong leadership to head up a team of Treasury Management implementation professionals in our Portland location. The implementation team is responsible for the onboarding and implementation of Treasury Management products servicing our corporate, commercial, and small business clients. This manager will need to deliver a modern, seamless customer implementation experience while driving strategic, transformational, and digital change to implementation processes and services. This manager will deliver results through the effective management and coaching of staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals. The department works collaboratively with our partners in Sales, Product, and Operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop staff performance standards for productivity, quality, and risk management in accordance with a superior customer focus
Ability to lead through change
Ensure quality service and effective support for all assigned internal and external customers
Achieve results through the effective management, support, and coaching of staff
Provide oversight to project leads on larger deals and serve as the escalation point for issue resolution
Ensure compliance with lead-times, service level agreements, and audit responsibilities.
Maintain key metrics around implementation productivity, onboarding times, and client satisfaction
Provide an environment that is conducive to open communication and feedback.
Provide close support and direction to the team with problem implementations, service failures, or individual challenges.
Communicate problems, challenges, and successes to ensure appropriate escalation.
Pursue and execute process improvements to elevate the client experience and staff development
Represent the Implementation Department in business line projects and transformational product development initiatives as assigned
Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of operations-related experience
Five or more years of supervisory/management experience
Superior knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations
Excellent organizational, managerial and project management skills
Well-developed customer relations skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Thorough knowledge of banking operations and human resources
