The Operations Manager provides program and project level oversight and support as set forth in applicable employee leasing services agreements. The Operations Manager may report to either the Director of Operations or the Company President and provides management linkage between awarded projects and the senior management team of a defined subsidiary. The Operations Manager may support up to two Subsidiary Presidents and may oversee small to medium sized projects and programs.
The Operations Manager is vested with the delegated authority of the Subsidiary President to ensure the proper and timely execution of assigned projects and programs and deliver reasonable profits and a high level of customer satisfaction.
This position requires a seasoned leader with a progressive record of success and increasing responsibilities centered in U.S. Government service-based contracting for both CONUS and OCONUS customers across multiple government agencies.
The Operations Manager serves as a member of the Management Team, along with Project Managers, supporting designated subsidiary Presidents.
This position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the Project Managers, Proposal and Business Development consultants, and assigned administrative support personnel.
Provides technical and management direction for project managers on small to medium sized projects
Reviews financial statements and data for assigned programs and projects and utilizes financial data to improve profitability.
Oversees project and program operational budgets.
Plans effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company through effective management of assigned projects and programs.
Ensures implementation of approved processes and policies in support of organizational goals as directed by the President.
Formulates and implements project/program policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitors adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
Manages customer support. Plans and supports business development and marketing activities.
Liaises with Company Presidents or Subsidiary Directors of Operations.
Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
Organizes, directs, and manages operation support functions, involving complex and project tasks.
Interfaces regularly with clients on assigned projects and programs
Meets with customers and project/program leadership to address issues and challenges
And all other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field. A degree is preferred but relevant experience may be substituted for education.
2-3 years of experience serving in business development and operational roles, with a minimum of 3 years management experience.
Strong, agile leader with proven ability to work effectively across functional groups of an organization Experience with managing Government contracts.
An understanding of organization budgets and basic accounting principles.
Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Power Point, Excel) and ability to create and edit high-quality written deliverables.
Networking and communication skills.
Have and maintain a Top-Secret personnel security clearance.
