Our office is seeking an Operations Manager candidate that possesses the leadership traits necessary to drive sales, our customer base, increase profitability and develop talent to help grow our Market! This key leadership opportunity will be instrumental in impacting the direction of the organization and shaping the way forward in our high-growth environment.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient management of the day to day performance and operations of the company. This role is the consummate advocate, consistently exhibiting and managing a service experience which cultivates a loyal and growing customer base. This job requires customary and regular exercise of independent judgment and discretionary powers in the day to day performance of the job duties, and ensures that company policies are implemented and maintained in a consistent manner.
Requirements of the role:
Sales: You will reach out to our customers to introduce them to our service and to answer any questions they may have. Identify new revenue opportunities and actively sell the business to commercial prospects. Make sales calls as time permits, and revenue requires. (Operational oversight & business management)
Customer Service: Some days, dependent on business, you will be on the trucks along with the Truck Team Members servicing our customers
Finances: You will assist in balancing the daily books/cash reconciliation as well as certain operational tasks. Manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints ie: labor and dumping.
Sales Meetings: Prior to our Truck Team hitting the road we hold a sales meeting that includes reviewing sales numbers as well as coaching. (KPI Accountability)
People: It starts with People! Review staffing requirements, complete weekly truck scheduling and forecast upcoming needs. (Performance Management)
Dispatch: You will run the routes for the Truck Team to ensure On Time Service is provided to all our customers

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in business or relevant field
3 – 5 years in sales and/or operation leadership in a service-oriented company
Experience leading employees within a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
A valid Driver’s license for 3+ years, 21+ years of age (for insurance purposes)
