This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating a team within a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
The Role:
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating a team within a warehouse/manufacturing environment. The loading and unloading areas consist of warehouse activities that range in complexity and commitment from personnel as follows:
Maintains a safe working environment by making sure all employees understand and follow all safety rules.
Train employees on procedures and operations.
Motivates and maintains a high level of morale among employees.
Maintain a positive relationship with the customer by providing a high level of service and by meeting goals set by the customer and Railserve.
Communicates with production teams
Maintain a thorough knowledge of operating procedures, safety rules, and operations.
Assists with Inventory checks
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Ability to assess multiple tasks and develop a plan to complete them in a timely manner.
Good time management and organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work for long, flexible hours and on weekends
Highly motivated and hardworking individual
Strong multitasking abilities
