Summary

The Operation Lead reports to Co-Manager of Operations and is responsible for day to day and oversight of the processing room. Determines operational needs, maintain inventory control and menu accuracy; train and lead operation associates, and proactively solve processing-related problems.

Essential Functions

  • Work with operation associates to increase efficiency, accuracy, and product knowledge

  • Estimate daily inventory requirements and pre-package product to meet projected needs

  • Prepare and package orders for MedMen customers

  • BOH organization

  • Maintain inventory control - cycle counts, communicate needs, processing, markdowns and removal

  • Maintain pricing and photos and ensure accuracy for inventory offerings on in-store iPad menus, including Weedmaps, MedMenStores.com, Leafly.

  • Achieve shrink goals.

  • Ensure audit compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience with customer service in retail.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve individual selling goals and metrics.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This person is directly responsible for leading the Operations team.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time unionized position. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work, nights, weekends and holiday availability.

Travel:

This position may require travel.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

About the Role As Operations Lead, you'll be in charge of Spin's day-to-day operations, managing drivers and mechanics and building a highly efficient operations team. Great leadership and organizational skills is essential - you'll be managing a local team and ensuring operational excellence in your market.
