Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for SAP system coordination of plant cylinder inventory, production input, system stock adjustments, production input and all data entry for overall plant

  • Monitors operational flow of bin locations (segregation, separation, general layout)

  • Handles receiving of bulk product and motor freight

  • Part number management / verification

  • Coordinates process for cycle counts

  • Transfer ticket selection

  • Coordinates overall month end inventory which includes set up count teams, Inventory records proofing, Variance review and data control

  • Provide administrative support, including but not limited to: ticket entry and changes, production data, cylinder movements, and raw material receipts in SAP on a frequent and daily basis

  • Processes special handling in billing for customers

  • Prepares shipping documents for outbound freight

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner and meet appropriate deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and use judgment to resolve both routine and non routine issues

Education, Experiences, Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • One (1) year of experience in production plant

  • Knowledge of Industrial gas industry a plus

  • Advanced experience with SAP preferred

  • Strong understanding of mathematical equations

Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:

While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly required to sit for long periods and stand to perform work. The associate is required to reach with hands and arms, smell, talk or hear. The associate must be able to lift, push, pull or move up to thirty (30) pounds or more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy and the associate may be exposed to extreme weather. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Hearing protection must be worn in designated areas.

  • Fully enclosed shoes or safety shoes must we worn in designated areas.

  • Safety glasses must be worn in designated areas.

  • Must use other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
