Operations Intern

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

• Warehouse Process Standardization - create, train, and monitor compliance for priority warehouse activities.

• Picker Accuracy - understand picking process and customer delivery process, root cause identification for errors, solution development and implementation to improve performance.

• Driver Variances - understand driver check-in process, reconciliation process, root cause analysis for shortages, solution development and implementation to improve performance.

• Inventory Control - understand physical inventory count process, root cause analysis for variances, solution development and implementation to improve performance.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:

• Pursuing a degree in any of the following: Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics, Information Systems, Business Management, or Distribution

• Advanced excel knowledge.

• Strong analytical skills.
