As the Operations & HR Manager at Gordon Reese Design Build, you’ll be the driving force behind our day-to-day operations. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll oversee office administration, human resources, production coordination, and compliance while playing a key role in company growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operations & Office Management – Oversee daily operations, vendor contracts, bookkeeping support, and internal communications.
  • Human Resources (HR) – Manage hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Production & Project Coordination – Support construction projects with logistics, permit applications, and trade partner compliance.
  • Sales & Marketing Support – Assist with lead management, client relations, and promotional initiatives.
  • Compliance & Safety – Ensure the company meets all regulatory and insurance requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of office & operations management experience, preferably in residential construction or remodeling.
  • Strong HR knowledge, including employment laws, policies, and best practices.
  • Experience with bookkeeping & accounting principles (QuickBooks Desktop preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Tech-savvy – Proficiency in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based project management tools.
