Operations Full Time Supervisor- Admissions & Parking Lot

Summary: A full time position with benefits is available in the Operations Division at Six Flags Great Adventure Resort. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of Admissions (Front Gates & Toll Plazas), Parking Lot, and Guest Transportation with secondary oversight of all Operations Departments. This position is responsible for providing guidance and direction to these areas including developing and administering department policies, procedures, and budgets while ensuring that all Safety and Guest First Standards are achieved.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all functions related to the safe and effective operation of the resort and assigned areas to include ensuring that all appropriate staffing levels are maintained.

• Primary Areas Include but are not limited to the following-

• Parking Lots & Parking Attendants

• Guest Transportation - Shuttles, Trams and Drivers

• Toll Plazas

• Ticket Gates

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of all staff.

• Ensure compliance with Department of Labor laws and guidelines.

• Ensure that all expenses are tracked and maintained within established budgetary guidelines including the preparation of monthly forecasts.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all aspects of the Corporate Safety policies.

• 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures as developed through park specific policies and SFTP corporate policy.

• Responsible for impacting overall guest satisfaction by advocating guest service programs and initiatives.

• Ensure that all Team Members within assigned department are properly trained and equipped to perform their job responsibilities.

• Ensure all resort toll plazas, ticket gates, parking lots and guest transportation vehicles are cleaned and guest ready for every operating day.

• Continue developing cross training initiatives in all operations departments, supporting all functions within the division

• Work closely with Human Resources to support all recruiting and retention initiatives, including recruiting events, internship programs and training

• Cover Park Duty Manager shifts as assigned.

• Enforce all park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.

• Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidates Should Possess:

• Minimum three year's experience in Theme Park Operations Management.

• Experience preparing and forecasting budgets.

• Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications.

• Leadership ability with a team oriented approach.

• College degree preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong motivational, leadership and team building skills.

• Demonstrate ability to accomplish goals through motivation and delegation, as well as through established systems.

• Good organizational skills, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, and self-motivator.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
