Description

The Operations Engineer provides technical support and project management to Mid-Con Region Pipelines and Terminal Operations. This includes engineering support for pipeline and terminal operations, including pump stations, truck racks, storage tanks and all associated equipment. Project Management support includes design, estimation and execution of maintenance Capital projects up to $2.5 MM Total Installed Cost.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Promoting a culture that delivers excellent HSE performance.

  • Supporting field operation and maintenance of pipelines and terminal facilities.

  • Develop and execute Capital projects.

  • Managing resolution of complex encroachment issues.

  • Supporting incident and near miss investigations.

  • Resource for completing PHA and HSE action items.

  • Supporting pre-startup safety reviews and develops startup commissioning procedures.

  • Assuring full compliance with all regulatory and Company policies and procedures.

  • Interfacing with field operations, ROW, Technical Services and Integrity, and Logistics.

Qualifications

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • 3 or more years of experience in Terminals or Pipelines

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Preferred:

  • 3 or more years of experience budgeting and long-range planning

  • 5 or more years of experience in pipeline and terminals maintenance, operations, or pipeline projects

  • 3 or more years of experience with hydraulics

  • Advanced level of proficiency with SAP

The Associate Product Coordinator will provide technical communications and support to business customers including customer field support and troubleshooting, field trials for product commercialization, product approvals and registrations, product label review, and used oil analysis. All communications from the Associate Product Coordinator will be reviewed by the appropriate Product Coordinator or Research Scientist before submission to any customer or marketer. Responsibilities may include: * Providing technical services and custom problem-solving support to P66's Lubricants customers and sales representatives. * Providing product analyses, data interpretation and written reports to customers regarding product performance or complaints. * Providing "best practice" advice and recommendations to customers and sales representatives regarding product selection, applications, lube/equipment maintenance and optimization. * Coordinating and/or assisting in major complaint investigations; serving as back-up to field lube engineers. * Designing and coordinating field tests programs in support of new product development and/or applications. * Developing, acquiring and maintaining product approvals/registrations with key OEM's and approval organizations. * Providing technical input and review for the development of technical product literature and training materials, assuring accuracy of product claims and applications. * Providing industry perspective and knowledge of customer applications within assigned product/segment areas of responsibility. * Conducting sales and technical presentations (internal, marketers, sales force and consumers). * Engaging in internal and external communications. * Conducting performance of job with leadership in safe work practices in laboratory, at customers work sites and in adherence to all HSE policies of P66 * Working and Traveling in a safe manner.
