Are you a systems engineer looking for something different? Are you looking for a growth opportunity where you can make a difference to a very important mission? This is an exciting system engineer position supporting the growing Space Security division within the Mission Solutions Line of Business The selected candidate will be an operations engineer supporting a program for Mission Solutions.

During the initial training period, the successful candidate will learn 24x7 operations and concurrently may support operations tools creation, data analysis and maintenance. Working in a 24x7 role, the candidate will become certified with operating certifications specific to the program.

Once certified, the individual will be responsible for ensuring the execution of planned activities and taking corrective actions in response to anomalies and system degradations or failures. Perform analysis of segment and interfaces to ensure system is operating normally. Interfaces with internal and cross-site personnel to conduct mission operations.

Acquires, applies, and disseminates technical skills and job knowledge to accomplish assigned tasks. Position requires the completion of formal training program and certification to perform duties.

Position will require on-call support as well as periodic off-hour shifts in support of mission activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline OR equivalent related equivalent experience with no degree.

  • Selected candidate must have a TS/SCI level security clearance.

  • Selected candidate must have current Security+ certification
