The Director, Operations Process Control leads a team of staff which creates, executes and delivers data reports to clients within strict time frames. The data reports are produced using various software including advanced MicroStrategy, SAS and proprietary NPD software. The Operations Director is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity and timeliness of client deliverables. Also for identifying, investigating and resolving data issues and effectively communicate to the appropriate internal parties. The Operations Director will also be expected to make decisions for Operational activities and set strategic goals.
Manage a team of staff in charge of delivering data reports according to strict deadlines.
Plan and monitor day-to-day activities ensuring smooth progress.
Create new processes and implement procedures effectively to staff.
Evaluate efficiencies of existing procedures, apply improvement where necessary and develop strategies for process improvement.
Act as key point of contact for all reporting issues/questions.
Effectively liaise with other groups within the company such as, Commercial, System Development, DSI and other support groups.
Support a team of direct reports across multiple locations and contribute to their ongoing development
Oversee technical projects/enhancements.
Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities to ensure there are no report data breaches.
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
8-10 years of proven leadership and management skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail; proven history of delivering quality work.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work; handle multiple tasks and ensure data quality concurrently.
Ability to interact with business and technical teams.
Ability to solve problems and propose solutions with minimal direction.
Proven exposure to the operation of data collection and retrieval.
Macro, VBA skills, a plus!
