Operations Director, Construction Systems Shakopee, MN (1804621) Where the Chemistry Happens As the Operations Director, you will direct all the functions of Operations at the U.S.

Construction Systems eight manufacturing sites to maintain the supply of our products at a competitive cost and a high level of quality and service to our customers. You will assume responsibility for all operational functions including: Production, Maintenance, Site Logistics and Planning, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Environmental/Health/Safety/Security (EHSS). Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Formulas for Success Leveraging your academic professional background, you will effectively engage with key customers and senior level management to deliver the budgeted production outputs.

Your extensive production environment experience coupled with expertise in leading people will serve you well as you drive operational excellence by implementing EHS and Quality standards, continuous improvement methods and introducing best practices to optimize production output and cost. You will create a safety mindset through the introduction of best practices, training and supporting the team to achieve the zero-accident target and full Responsible Care/EHS compliance. You will provide leadership to the sites including the creation and implementation of the sites visions, operating budgets, capital spending and expenses, strategies, and tactical plans in alignment with the business strategies, which will continuously improve the functioning of the operations.

CEVA Logistics in Shakopee, MN is currently seeking Inventory Specialists. These individuals will be responsible for physically performing inventory counts, recording and reporting data results, assisting with research and reconciling inventory discrepancies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Runs inventory report using the appropriate inventory query from WMS program and transfers data to Count Sheet template and shared network. * Prints Count Sheets in location sequence. * Conducts physical inventory count and enters quantity onto Count Sheet. * Records and enters count results into system files. * Researches inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items. * Run transaction history to identify the last locations that product was stored. * Conduct search of "Staging" areas. * Perform "Empty" location audits. * Record and report the results of the count and audits. * Report findings to department supervisor or designated representative. * Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping and receiving as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCTION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS * High School Diploma or GED required. * Less than one year related experience. * Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. * Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors. * Must be PC literate. Basic level skill proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. * Ability to safely drive and operate the forklift. * Accurate typing skills and/or data entry. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. * Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. * Read, comprehend and write basic correspondence. * Effectively present information one-on-one or in small group situations. * Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. * Balances team and individual responsibilities. * Consistently at work and on time.
