Our Operations Development Program is a three year rotational program for recent college graduates with manufacturing operations management, engineering and supply chain related experiences who have a passion for manufacturing and are motivated to accelerate their career to leadership roles in the organization. Program participants must be motivated and mobile as they will have three assignments in three US Donaldson facilities to build manufacturing understanding and leadership skills.
Year 1 Is a project leadership assignment that offers a broad overview of manufacturing in the participants preferred area of development. Assignments may include manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or production planning. Participants will lead projects focused on improving plant metrics (safety, quality, delivery, cost) and using lean manufacturing principles.
Year 2 Is a front line leadership assignment that includes a focused assignment in the participant's selected career path of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering and an assignment as a production supervisor.
Year 3 Is a people leadership assignment where the participant will continue to supervise people and lead impactful projects furthering their leadership skills within operations areas in their selected career path. Assignments may include supervision of engineering, quality, production, production planning or shipping.
