Operations Coordinator (Warehouse Focus)

Primary Role: Operations Coordinator at Orox Leather Co.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, and day-to-day operations of retail and web channels.

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in receiving, storing, and shipping inventory to ensure accurate and timely processing.

  • Coordinate inventory across multiple channels, including transfers, purchasing, and restocking.

  • Participate in supervising warehouse staff, including providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.

  • Aid in optimizing warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize efficiency and space utilization.

  • Assist in implementing safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.

  • Establish reordering triggers and forecasts for each product and help in reordering coordination.

  • Provide support in coordinating online order fulfillment for the webstore and managing inventory transfers and vendor orders for the PDX Airport Store.

  • Assist with quality control and inventory management for Orox's product line and third-party products.

  • Support in managing relationships with wholesale partners and fulfilling restock requests.

  • Aid in monthly reporting for wholesale and consignment partners.

  • Collaborate with various departments within the company, including customer service, marketing, and manufacturing.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize operations.

  • Assist in managing quarterly and annual inventory counts of finished goods and raw materials.

  • Serve as a team player, contributing positively to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehouse management, inventory management, or operations coordination is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and safety regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP, fullfillment and ecommerce software programs (preferred).

  • Physical ability to use warehouse equipment and lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to drive and deliver goods to the airport. Valid Driving license (preferred).

Working Hours: Full-time position with hours to be determined based on operational needs and scheduling requirements.
