Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the unit, which provides customer service and processing of customer orders.

  • Coordinate personnel which includes instruction of duties and performance standards.

  • Receives, prioritizes, and processes customer orders; schedules and releases orders for shipment according to sales policy and customer requirements.

  • Assists in investigation of complex customer complaints.

  • Works with excel, word, and outlook to maintain customer inventory and schedule.

  • Participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for fulfillment; recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations.

  • Facilitates interaction between customers, Client Service Coordinators, warehouse, accounting, and sales.

  • Operate the label printer

  • Present a professional customer oriented image in all business related contacts

  • Inventory and stock all necessary supplies

  • Document all communications with customers regarding changes to job requirements

  • Demonstrate a willingness to accept direction from superiors and peers to improve quality and work performance

  • Follow all company rules, procedures and safety policies

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager

FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: Above all else, a Project Coordinator Lead is to provide outstanding customer service to our customers. Work with customers, vendors, and internal teammates to provide packaging materials and store displays for our national database of customers. Receive and acknowledge customer orders as the face of QPI after sales hand off. Enter customer orders into the ERP system, create labor tickets, maintain filing and tracking systems and assist in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all materials. All this is done to ensure the utmost turn-key customer experience with phenomenal quality products and services at Quality Packaging. The Project Coordinator Lead is accountable for proper execution of jobs, on time delivery and communication with customers. Daily focus will include supervision and support to PC Assistant/Office Generalist. Essential Functions: * Order entry * Ensure proper inventory levels before releasing job as ready for production * Run reports that monitor the ERP system for receipt of materials, parts availability, etc. * Send acknowledgements to the customer * Report consumption and customer inventories in an accurate and timely manner. Request cycle counts when necessary * Work with Procurement Department to ensure part fulfillments of QPI purchased parts * Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal personnel to provide an enhanced working relationship * Attend scheduled Production Meetings and be prepared to provide updates on current accounts * Be proactive in keeping accounts updated and current. Maintain accurate job data through customer tracker which is updated daily * Ensure proper execution of new projects by holding pre-planning meetings and the PPAP process * Ensure invoicing upon completion of the project. Participate in recap, reissue and confirmation of job tickets as needed * Take on new accounts as needed Qualifications: * Must have at least two years previous manufacturing experience in related field * Must have experience in an office environment * Must be able to accurately enter and review data; specifically, via Excel spreadsheets * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills * Must be able to work with all different levels and types of people * Must be able to handle difficult customers in a pleasant manner * Must be a self-starter * Must exhibit the following competencies: * Job Knowledge: Competent in essential functions and job knowledge.
