Feeding Children Everywhere (FCE) is a non-profit organization that activates people for a hunger-free world. To date, FCE has distributed over 100 million meals to hungry people across the globe and has mobilized over 600,000 volunteers.

The organization focuses efforts around addressing hunger and the root causes. The program vehicles include:

  • Hunger Projects - high energy corporate, church or civic social responsibility events that mobilize thousands of volunteers across the US to hand-package healthy meals for hungry people

  • Full Cart - a meal delivery service for hard working individuals and families to extend their grocery budget and connect them with life-changing career resources

  • Disaster Relief - a program that activates people to package disaster relief meal kits in immediate response to natural disasters

  • International Development - community transformation projects that include the improvement of education, agriculture, womens health initiatives and economic development

  • Micro-Farming - community farming efforts that make nutrient rich foods accessible in food desserts

For this position, we are looking for the type A personality who thrives off of organization and planning. This individual settles for nothing less than perfection and takes pride in the small details. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the planning and scheduling of all Hunger Project travel logistics. This role coordinates and books all travel including flights, hotels, and rental car reservations. This role will also be responsible for all Hunger Project itineraries and coordinating all meal distribution pickups, ensuring meals get into the hands of those who need it most.   • Coordinating and tracking all domestic meal distribution and ensuring meals are placed timely and efficiently

  • Vetting new distribution partnerships and managing the application and approval process

  • Planning and booking all travel accommodations

  • Flights

  • Rental Vehicles

  • Airport Parking

  • Hotels

  • Maintaining travel costs and ensuring department metrics are being achieved

  • Coordinating and creating all event itineraries for Hunger Projects utilizing the Tripit Application

  • Maintaining meal distribution and travel reports

  • Assisting in building partnerships with travel partners (hotels, airlines, rental cars companies, airport parking, ground transportation) to ensure best prices

  • Assisting in improving processes for travel booking, itineraries, and meal distribution

  • Monitoring and tracking finished goods (packaged meals) and meals alloted for the Full Cart Program

  • Overseeing Operations Interns and their tasks
