Role and Team
Reporting to the GM or designated manager, this role will be responsible for effectively planning, communicating, and executing key onsite events and tasks for our Operations team to drive culture, engagement and efficiencies across a site. May provide support in other areas.
Responsibilities
Social media/video creation skills
Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding process
Completing Section 2 of the I9 process*
Maintain site rosters
Prepare and execute communication plans for key operations initiatives or events
Write, create, and distribute internal communications such as emails, business updates, and announcements
Maintain employee resource centers with up-to-date, pertinent information; re-stock materials as necessary*
Maintain employment law postings*
Handle, coordinate and oversee employee engagement events
Oversee onsite employee recognition programs (birthdays and anniversaries if applicable)
Collaborate with leadership teams, internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners
Direct employees and managers to the proper resources for HR related matters
Other duties as assigned which may include the following:
Order site level supplies
Safety Coordinator *
Log incidents to Aclaimant
Support Safety, Facilitate and/or track local safety inspections, safety compliance duties, safety trainings, PPE Supplies
Assist with temporary labor sale day check-in, check out, and invoice reconciliation
Log Temp Hours
Block Clerking
Assist GM with customer marketing materials and initiatives
Coordinate site community involvement/charity events
Participate in candidate interview process when requested by management
Support marketing efforts, such as plan events, create and distribute materials, coordinate displays
Greet dealers on sale day *
Social Media
Participate in Management meetings
Skills and Attributes
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self motivated individual and ability to work autonomously
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both internally and externally
A passion for keeping things neat and organized, all while remaining upbeat and positive
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
1-2 years of experience in related fields
Social media/video creation skills
Experience coordinating events and creating ultimate excitement/hype around them
Flexible schedule; willing to work weekends and stay late to ensure success
Be a creative force and master of execution
Ability to multitask, remain calm and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, event management, time management skills
Confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information
Basic computer skills are required.
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.

The physical activity requirements of the position range from Light to Medium Physical Work.

Physical Working Conditions:
This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
