Job Summary:

This role focuses on planning, coordinating operations, ensuring resource accuracy, and promoting continuous improvement.

Job Description:

Core areas of responsibility are:

• Update, maintain and develop operations plans to incorporate unitary operations

• Track and control of operations' activities and their deviations

• Work with varied departments to ensure the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production is accurate.

• Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability including project and work order interactions

• Recommend effective solutions to reduce production costs, enhance production processes, and improve product quality.

• Promptly communicate any changes to current production schedules to relevant departments and supervisors.

• Collaborate with all team departments to resolve identified discrepancies and update documents accordingly.

• Support and implement processes and tools for generating system reports.

• Acting as an ambassador for continuous improvement, through controlling, evaluation, planning and execution of processes

• Stay familiar with all safety rules and regulations

• Perform additional duties as assigned, being hands-on when needed

Skills, competences, and knowledge to perform the work

Experience:

• 3+ years In-depth knowledge of Industrial operations, including critical components and resources.

• Engineering experience is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Experience in planning and scheduling within a production or manufacturing setting is preferred.

• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) analysis is highly desirable.

Communication:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on providing clear instructions and fostering team collaboration.

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.

Personal Abilities and Adaptability:

• Strong team player with the flexibility and willingness to perform multidisciplinary efficiency to meet production goals.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately, such as daily updates to the operations plan.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Competency:

• Proficient in computer tools, with at least intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel; advanced proficiency is a plus.

• Experience with planning software is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

• Strong safety awareness and culture.

Work Environment

• Ability to work extended hours while sitting at a computer.

• Periods of standing and walking throughout the Bluehouse facility.

• Flexibility to connect remotely as needed to handle unexpected changes outside of business hours.

• Willingness to take on additional tasks outside of the job description as needed.

Schedule

• Onsite position requiring a 40-hour work week. Typical schedule would include a Monday through Friday work week during core business hours. Employee understands that our farm is 24/7 hr and position may require occasional work outside of the standard business hours.
