Operations - CIP Bay Attendant

Job Summary:

The CIP Bay Attendant is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dairy tankers in compliance with procedures and guidelines.

Essential Job Functions:

• Clean hoses, buckets and carts, hand rail of ladder, floor of bays and around tanks, and handwashing sink.

• Ensure that the floor is clean of any type of debris.

• Stores all supplies, tools, and hoses properly.

• Cleans the CIP control room.

• Cleans out caustic, fresh water, and reclaim tanks.

• Complete confined space assessment for every tanker that is entered.

• Daily vehicle inspection.

• Swabs must be done on all tankers.

• Wash log completed, the seal log must match the wash log.

• Lifting in excess of 50 lbs.

• Ability to climb a ladder multiple times a day.

• Ability to operate a terminal tractor to maneuver tankers in and out of the CIP bay and park them in their designated areas on the WDT yard (CDL not required).

• Ability to follow all HACCP/JPA/OSHA guidelines

Skills/Eduation/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

• Valid Driver's license in state of residency with acceptable driving record

• Must be able to pass Department of Transportation alcohol and drug screen
