Bring your expertise to the team responsible for identifying end-to-end solutions in Cross Border payments using a client-centric approach to developing innovative solutions. These solutions address known and future client needs in addition to creating opportunities for business growth readiness, creating consistency with client experience and in the operating model and identifying areas for technology investments. The team will transform current state processes and technology platforms by employing design principles to address identified pain points.
As an Operations Business Analyst in our Cross Border Payments Strategy team, you will work in conjunction with relevant Product, Operations and Technology teams. You will identify solutions, drive prioritization, and deliver changes that support operations. You will also work with product and tech leads to ensure new product offerings are built in accordance with strategic operational principles and that there is a seamless delivery to the operational teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze, define, document and prioritize business and functional requirements for development and commercialization of target state products, processes and technology to meet the firm's business objectives
Analyze current and proposed payments flows and operations process flows to be able to map these into Operations-focused products that can be used to track and monitor payments
Document process flows including customer interactions, operations interventions, payment processing flows and data handoffs to identify creative solutions to strategic program challenges
Conduct verification/testing of functionality, production flows and target processes
Perform impact analysis for business initiatives to determine technical or operational process change for key business groups and conduct a thorough transition process to ensure that functional groups across Operations, Technology, and Service units are clear and informed on their respective target state models
Take changes end to end from business requirements through to implementation and post implementation support ensuring there is a seamless and minimal risk implementation
Carry out defect analysis, prioritization of fixes and verification of production functionality
Support planning, tracking, and reporting of progress of requirements delivery
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
5+ years of product/change delivery experience within the financial services industry
3+ year operational experience in change delivery in Payments
Understanding of the broader payments market
Ability to build partnerships and work in a collaborative environment
Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
Solid record of success in supporting large-scale initiatives
Solid understanding of databases and analytics to effectively gather, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making
Analytical skills and diligence in written documentation
Project Planning, organizational skills and time management
Communication skills - able to articulate a business requirement through multiple business functions and at various management levels
Presentation skills - written, visual, and verbal - and meeting/workshop facilitation
