Operations Associate

Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking a Operations Associate to join a financial services company that is focused on providing retirement and reinsurance solutions. The Operations Associate will be responsible for all tasks related to upcoming business. This is a hybrid role that is on-site 3 days a week in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities of the Operations Associate include:

• Handle intake of new annuity applications that are received daily, review application for completeness and accuracy per company and statutory guidelines

• Handle processing of outgoing funds for orders not taken or overpayments

• Correspond with producer to ensure accurate and timely processing of premium payment and annuity applications.

• Maintain knowledge of companies annuity offerings, and obtain a basic understandng on IRC tax procedures.

Qualifications for the Operations Associate include:

• B.A. or B.S.

• 0-2 years of applicable experience, insurance or finance services preferred

• Good communication and attention to detail

• Computer savviness

Compensation for the Operations Associate:

• Compensation: $21-$23/hr
