General Description

The Operations Associate's role is to create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. The Operations Associate role is an early morning position and you will work with the a team to perform functions prior to store opening.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service You're maneuvering around the store at a fast pace, working with all the latest merchandise, but when a customer stops to ask you a question or request assistance, there's no one they'd rather be talking to other than you.

  • Executes pricing and signing You can change ticket prices and signing on merchandise across the store better and faster than anyone!

  • Replenish and restock the store: You understand the needs of the customer. When merchandise is getting low, you assist your sales floor peers and leaders by pulling and preparing merchandise to go the floor in order to ensure all of our customers have the styles and sizes they need.

  • Receive and unload merchandise: You work with your co-workers to unload a truck and prepare the merchandise in the backroom.

  • Backroom standards: You keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized .

  • Omnichannel: You will contribute to Omichannel efforts including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, Shipping Online Orders, and Merchandise Receiving.

  • Merchandise strategy: You take the plans that have been communicated by leadership on where to place merchandise throughout the store and execute the plan with efficiency and detail. You understand the merchandising standards and work to deliver an outstanding customer experience by maintaining these standards as you flow goods to the sales floor.

  • Participates in a learning environment: You absorb new information from your peers or training materials on our merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.

Job Summary Responsible for managing the clinical operations of the Frankel Cardiovascular Center including the FCVC multi-disciplinary programs for the Center for Circulatory Support (Ventricular Assist Device) Team, Structural Heart Program, Patient Flow Coordinator Team as well as other clinical operations that may be added by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), FCVC Directors, or CV/Neuro sub-segment leadership in alignment with Michigan Medicine, UH/CVC Segment and FCVC strategic priorities. Also responsible for general oversight of the FCVC building/facility, Quality/Lean operational initiatives, clinical efforts and interdisciplinary program development that results from the strategic planning process, and process improvement while meeting unit of service targets, preparing and proposing activity, operational and capital budgets and responding to variations in the forecast throughout the fiscal year. In addition, the role includes leading and tracking strategic clinical initiatives including market analysis, financial analysis, understanding our outreach strategies and enhancing referring physician communications and processes. Also included are other hospital-based activities and improvement projects (capacity management, ACTIVATE, bed allocation), leading the FCVC Clinical Operations Council as well as potentially participating in the institution wide administrator-on-call (AOC) program and lead for Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies preparation and compliance for the FCVC. Required Qualifications* Demonstrated experience of at least 3-5 years in managing clinical operations including one or more of the following areas: ambulatory care operations, inpatient support team operations, non-invasive testing areas, and/or administrative support staff. Master's degree in a relevant discipline and considerable professional operational experience with 5 years or more of prior management, supervisory or team leader experience. Significant experience indicating increasing responsibilities in a clinical venue setting as described above. Excellent organizational skills in setting and balancing multiple priorities with demonstrated outcomes. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service especially in working with faculty and staff across multiple areas.
