The Operations Associate position is a key role in accurately capturing data and advertisements from printed materials. While data entry experience is a plus, we will train candidates that have the right attitude, drive and a thirst for knowledge. What we insist upon is cooperation and flexibility to support the team with various projects and assignments.


  • Ensure ads are received, scanned and processed in the most-timely and cost-effective way possible.

  • Follow up on missing print / digital materials.

  • Report on status, coverage, volume and other metrics.

  • Prepare documents for internal management, external contacts and clients.

  • Assist in improving / developing new processes.

  • Assist or lead special projects.

  • Perform daily task of indexing ads, quality checking of ads, and investigating / resolving issues.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and other operational teams.

  • Provide regular status updates/reports for documentation or escalation.

  • Participate in ongoing training on integration and knowledge of database.

  • Associate degree or higher.

  • Prior office experience preferred.

  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated with good oral/written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining efficiency and quality of work.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred.

  • Proficiency with G-Suite

  • Experience and accuracy working with data.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Follows through with all assignments and meets deadline.

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

  • Takes initiative and learns quickly.

  • Efficient time management, prioritization and organization.

  • Embraces process changes.

  • Flexibility in learning and managing multiple job functions.

Sign-on bonus eligible! * Outbound – Night Shift Schedule * $15.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential * Schedule Options: * Four day, full time weekday schedule, 3:00 PM start time * Five day, full time Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule, 4:00 PM start time * All shifts may require some weekend work and mandatory overtime as needed What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health * Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controllinga combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. * This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. * Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. Accountabilities * Responsible for cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse including Inbound, ValueLink and Outbound * Palletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment * Pack small items in boxes * May drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider. Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED preferred * 1 - 2 years related experience preferred * Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred * Ability to occasionally lift 50 Ibs and be able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift of 8 hours or more required * Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice * Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse * Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes, and material handling equipment safety harness; accountable to Cardinal Health's EHS as well as QRA policies and procedures. * Aptitude to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards What is expected of you and others at this level * Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks * Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area * Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution * Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods * Adheres to all quality guidelines * Works under moderate degree of supervision * Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor * Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor Cardinal Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
