Position Snapshot

Responsible for coordinating transfer and processing activities.

Day in the Life

After clocking in and grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

  • Meet with your supervisor to review daily tasks and safety measures

  • Complete all data entry and billing for the Universal Waste program

  • Timely submittal of T&P receipts for billing

  • Assist in maintenance of 10-day transfer log

  • Other duties as assigned by manager

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics of transfer loads

  • Maintain schedule for all incoming loads shipped for transfer

  • Maintain transfer related records in accordance with 40 CFR and 49 CFR requirements

  • Coordinator all outbound transfer shipments with both internal personnel and TSDF personnel

  • Review incoming shipping documentation for accuracy and enter it into EQAI

  • Maintain process operation logs (universal waste, rainwater, trash, etc.)

  • Perform fingerprint related functions

  • Coordinate supply orders for site with Ops. Mgr.

  • Coordinate maintenance needs with Ops. Mgr.

  • Perform daily site inspections and maintain inspection log

  • Interface with TSDF's for resolutions to paper work issues

  • Maintain trailer tracking log and coordinate with T&P Manager for trailer maintenance

What you need to apply

  • Associates or bachelor's degree preferred/ or relevant experience

  • 1+ years' experience in the environmental industry

  • Strong knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening

A Day in the Life of an Administrative Assistant: This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Operations– Michigan in all administrative and operational matters.
