Job Description:

Responsible for assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated and assigned by the Store Manager with main focus on the front-end and sales floor operations. Also assist with the hiring, training and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager

  • Able to perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager

  • Assist the Store Manager in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines

  • Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates and supervisors

  • Maintain all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards to include recovery

  • When the Store Manager is not on the premises, direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Associates

  • Process all SSC Corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information

  • requests and any additional communications related to store activities as delegated by the Store Manager

  • Assist the Store Manager on the receipt and return of DSD merchandise.

  • Follow the VIP and DSD Policies and Procedures

  • Assist the Store Manager in ensuring proper staffing coverage on a daily basis

  • Assist the Store Manager in ensuring that the sales floor is sales effective on a daily basis

  • Assist in the management of cashiering activities to ensure all company cash handling practices & guidelines are followed at all times by all Associates

  • Promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays

  • Assist in the management of sales effectiveness of seasonal areas in the store

  • Coordinate appropriate signage utilized in the store

  • Assist with the receipt and return of DSD merchandise

  • Process damaged merchandise on a daily basis

  • Assist Store Manager with creation of weekly schedules

  • Assist in the management of store supplies and expense control

  • Assist with merchandising and maintaining the checkout area to maximize impulse sales

  • Ensure coolers and store-front program racks/displays are refilled daily (balloon program, sunglasses, batteries, etc.)

  • Assist with the management of the Drive Item program

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Prefer prior retail and management experience

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills

  • Ability to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs

  • Ability to work in a high energy team environment

Utilizes advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to facilitate appropriate member physical health and behavioral healthcare through assessment and care planning, direct provider coordination/collaboration, and coordination of psychosocial wraparound services to promote effective utilization of available resources and optimal, cost-effective outcomes. Job Responsibilities: Assessment of Members: * Through the use of clinical tools and information/data review, conducts comprehensive assessments of referred members needs/eligibility & determines approach to case resolution and/or meeting needs by evaluating members benefit plan and available internal and external programs/services. * Applies clinical judgment to the incorporation of strategies designed to reduce risk factors and address complex clinical indicators which impact care planning and resolution of member issues. * Using advanced clinical skills, performs crisis intervention with members experiencing a behavioral health or medical crisis and refers them to the appropriate clinical providers for thorough assessment & treatment, as clinically indicated. * Provides crisis follow up to members to help ensure they are receiving the appropriate treatment/services. Enhancement of Medical Appropriateness and Quality of Care: * Application and/or interpretation of applicable criteria and clinical guidelines, standardized case management plans, policies, procedures, & regulatory standards while assessing benefits and/or members needs to ensure appropriate administration of benefits * Using holistic approach consults with supervisors, Medical Directors and/or other programs to overcome barriers to meeting goals and objectives; presents cases at case conferences to obtain multidisciplinary view in order to achieve optimal outcomes * Identifies and escalates quality of care issues through established channels * Ability to speak to medical and behavioral health professionals to influence appropriate member care. * Utilizes influencing/motivational interviewing skills to ensure maximum member engagement and promotes lifestyle/behavior changes to achieve optimum level of health * Provides coaching, information and support to empower the member to make ongoing independent medical and/or healthy lifestyle choices. * Helps member actively and knowledgably participate with their provider in healthcare decision-making * Analyzes all utilization, self-report and clinical data available to consolidate information and begin to identify comprehensive member needs. Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation of Care: * In collaboration with the member and their care team develops and monitors established plans of care to meet the members goals * Utilizes case management & quality management processes in compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines & company policies & procedures. Background/ Experience Desired: * 3-5 years of direct clinical practice experience post master's degree, e.g., hospital setting or alternative care setting such as ambulatory care or outpatient clinic/facility * Case management and discharge planning experience preferred * Managed care/utilization review experience preferred * Crisis intervention skills preferred Education: The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Master's degree.
