Job Description:

The Operations Assistant will work closely with the Operations Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the agency. This role will work to establish and implement best operational practices to help enhance the performance of the agency and meet goals through approved processes and procedures. The Operations Assistant is responsible for various "behind the scenes" tasks that will ensure team members are adequately trained by assisting with licensing, processing, procedures, and planning.

This position is part-time with flexible hours and the potential to develop into a full-time position by the end of the year.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in all day-to-day operations in the agency

• Identify and recommend opportunities for new processes and improvements

• Meet and maintain effective relationships with carrier representatives

• Fulfill other duties as assigned

Job Requirements/Competencies:

• 2 years Agency experience preferred.

• Excellent communication skills; verbally and written.

• Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.

• Must be dependable, provide timely response, and complete work activities.
